That lightning was a beautiful example. I used to see so many of them in the mid 2000s, always thought they sounded amazing. Never seen one in that color though, gorgeous.

yo to ya all from across the pond .. just a moment of detail .. note time after pull on vid 21'51 i noticed a hard dark band on one side of tyre Middle why was there not the same on the other side is this a track thing .has there there got to be a lighter cololor or load on any given side from centre of tyre ,,,. maybe suspension /or diffs just noticed somthing and had me thinking ,, all good . .peace .

Hmm, something isn’t right with that truck. My Lightning made 520/604 on the stock blower at 13psi...that whipple at 22psi should be easily 600s+ 🤔

It's alway strange seeing a domestic v8 on the PFI dyno. I'm not complaining, Brent is just better known for imports.

I'm looking to build my truck into a beast .... I have a 2004 Sierra 2500 HD crew cab 4x4 short bed with the big block 496 vortec 8100 and allison transmission on 35 inch tires ..... no lift I was going for the stuffed look ... but if I can get my hands on 2 pre duramax turbos from like a 90s 6.2 or 6.5 diesel truck would they build boost on my gas motor ???? I mentioned specifically older GM turbos because they will most likely be really easy to get for a decent price and easy to locate readily available and GM sourced originally for a gm product.....

Just imagine maybe in two years... Pro Outlaw FWD (again)! Keep pushing guys I can’t wait to see these cars & Ron B. Tripping the bulbs again.

Nice to see a truck on the dyno!!! I'll always like the 1st gens look more, but those lightnings are pretty cool. Big wheels, dropped, blown v8 stock with the classic side exits. Don't get me wrong love the push you guys are doing this year so far but someone at PFI needs a project truck to feature once every few months... really dig the videos with Shaun's 4runner and the trophy truck stuff too.

when you see a top fuel team run, you notice its a team sport. we forget to notice that this is a team too, everyone helping out, its tuning, wrenching, fixing, helping anyway to get the cars running, this crew is a army of friends helping each other do what they love.

I have loved the 2nd gen's since release, my brother has an '04, bought it new! Love the stock sound with the blower whine, so good. And he was close on stock dyno, its like 350-355, which tells you they weren't no "380" at the crank as advertised. More like what 420-430 at the crank? This thing pulling another 130 hp to the wheels is going to be a tire frying machine!

Brent you are definitely right saying that the vtec kicked in there would be no way it would have Rev to 9k like that👍🏻 top tuner

I recently updated my dynojet 248 to the RT and winpep 8 like you guys. I gotta ask, I usually don’t see a rpm pick up going into the engine bay on any of the cars on your dyno in the videos with the exception of this one. Are you using the gear ratio calibration in winpep for the rpm pick up?

I think Tom's Car looks Fantastic. The only thing that I would of done differently is had the exhaust exit in the front fender, just in front if the wheel. It doesn't look as good with it exiting out of the hood. Plus I would of cried cutting that hole in that pristine front end. A nice angle to the pipe with laser cut ring around it would have looked Rad. Also Congratulations to Todd on getting some great numbers on your car. Those new Pulsar Turbos look like it lights up a lot better. But well done Tom and Todd also to all the Guys and Girls. The Live Stream was fantastic, it felt like being there. That was Awesome.
